Town of Surfside, FL assigned this issue to Police Chief John Healy

This is becoming urgent, a lot of crashes to happen because of people not stopping on the stop signs and hopefully we don’t get any kid injured by cars that are speeding

I still don’t see any enforcement ;(

Thank you for submitting your safety concern to the police department. We understand the issue with vehicles possibly speeding and disregarding stop signs. During the recent three weeks, a lot of resources have been deployed to other areas of town. We had troopers monitoring the residential area. Effective July 12, 2021, the Troopers have departed the area, we have now reassigned our traffic officers and patrol officers to be more active in the residential areas.
