Lately, I have been reading how city of Elsinore is trying to make our town more inviting. I want our freeway off ramps at Central Ave to be landscaped or at least trash and weeds removed. I'm sure there is something we could do for the ugly appearance. It looks run down and getto. We want landscape....please

NOTHING HAS BEEN LANDSCAPED
HOW COME OTHER NEIGHBORHOODS GET NICE OFF RAMPS FROM THE I-15 And ALL THE OFF RAMPS LEADING To Lake Elsinore look like TRASH AND FULL OF POTHOLES?
WHY ARE WE ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN with Calstrans?

I am glad to see that residents of Lake Elsinore care about the appearance of our beautiful city. And that Concerns have been voiced. Since i have read previous post about freeway ramps and their appearance being voiced. And the response is that it is Caltrans responsibilty. I sent the following email to Caltrans via the Caltrans website.
I along with Many residents of our city (Lake Elsinore) have noticed that our cities off ramps and on ramps are not up to par with many of the surrounding cities freeway ramps. In regards to appearance and appeal. Lake Elsinore's freeway ramps are not very appealing and appear unkept. there have been inquiries sent to the city, via the cities app that makes concerns easily forwarded to the proper city department. Concerns about the beautification of our freeway ramps have been answered as being forwarded to Caltrans. As a concerned citizen of this amazing city I would like to know if there is a reason to the freeway ramps that connect To Lake Elsinore, to have fallen behind on keeping up in appeal, as compared to many surrounding cities. Or what can we do as a community to help in improving the appearance of our ramps. Lake Elsinore is a beautiful city with spectacular natural vistas. From the cleveland National Forest to the west rolling hills to the east and Southern Californias Largest Natural Lake that sits in the middle of our City. So much beauty that is overseen and not well represented when commuters travel via the Interstate 15.
