Who is making these irresponsible and insensitive decisions for the residents of Surfside? The Lifeguard stand belongs behind the Community Center Property!!!! Take the time and money to make that happen!!!
The Town has already waited several weeks since the Lifeguard stand was demolished with an alternate solution. What kind of emergency situation made it acceptable to violate the Noise Ordinance to construct this structure on a Sunday Morning??? And place the structure in front of residential condos without notice???? This is not right!!! If the Town does not have the right people in the right positions to schedule work during allowable working hours in an allowable location, they need to be replaced!!! THIS WAS NOT an EMERGENCY! Furthermore, who is paying for the overtime??? This has been totally mismanaged and needs to be FIXED IMMEDIATELY!!! Remove this structure now and place it on the Community Center Property NOW.
