The Town of Surfside takes resident concerns very seriously.  Upon receiving your submission, the Town of Surfside checked with the construction site manager for the Beach Renourishment Project currently taking place on the public beach, and they have confirmed that what you are referring to is not related to the project.  What was observed out in the site was sea-foam along the shoreline both in and away from the placement site from the waves crashing on the beach.  This is a natural occurrence and it is possible that stronger winds may have spread more of this foam. During the Renourishment Project, the sand source has not changed.  If you do observe any anomalies pertaining to the public beach in Surfside, please feel free to let us know.  Likewise, if you happen to have any further questions and/or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
