Good afternoon, the parking meters were reserved at the request of Miami Dade County for the Beach Ambassadors there were going to assist the Town of Surfside with the beach reopening that was originally scheduled for June 1, 2020. The Mayor of Miami Dade County extended the beach closure until further notice, so the parking spaces were reopened today, June 3, 2020. The covers have since been removed.
