Construction Issues Archived8910 Collins Ave Surfside, FL 33154, USA - Surfside
Crane is facing southwest and is above the street and if it falls in that position it will fall on top of my condo and building. Hurricane is coming and it needs to be moved to their property.
I called police department at 8 and they brushed me off saying maybe they will take it down tomorrow. Not a good answer.

Parking Issue Archived89th Street And Harding East Corner Surfside, Florida - SurfsideA week or so ago I reported the issue of the illegal yellow lines painted on the sidewalk that are more than 50 feet long when the ordinance says MAX of 20 FEET FROM THE CROSSWALK and YOU GUYS RESPONDED CLOSED TO TWO WEEKS AGO that you would check this out within a week or two and get it fixed. SO FAR NOTHING! You are still giving illegal tickets to people and nobody has come out to check anything and obviously the line is still illegally yellow. This needs to be correct ASAP!

Parking Issue Archived89 St And Harding Ave Surfside, Florida - SurfsideA few weeks ago I brought up this issue and was told by whomever answered it that painting a yellow line for over 50 feet on the street corner of 89 st and Harding was legal according to Miami Dade code Section 30-292. He stated you were allowed to paint yellow lines for 20 feet or greater. THAT IS INCORRECT. I attached the EXACT WORDING from the code and it states that you can only block parking WITHIN 20 of a CROSSWALK. Not even the line where cars are supposed to stop but the CROSSWALK.
AS you can see in the pictures I attached to this post, whomever painted the yellow line painted the line OVER 50 feet from the CROSSWALK which eliminated a few parkings spaces and you guys need to CORRECT THIS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY by removing the yellow line after the 20 FEET allowed by the code that you mentioned. Also the yellow line is more than 20 feet across the street on the south side of 89 street by a few feet. -
Parking Issue Archived89 Street Harding Side Surfside, Florida - Surfside2 weeks ago on both sides of the street, Yellow lines on the sidewalk to eliminate parking on the street at this location showed up. Parking is VERY LIMITED in this area and by painting these yellow lines here you just eliminated about 4-6 street parking spaces. There is NO reason for there to be Yellow line on these areas as far as they go. I can understand at the corners but not all the way in like they painted them. Please eliminate these lines.

Construction Issues Archived8900 Collins Surfside, Florida - SurfsideI don't know who approved ROAD WORK on Collins and 89 avenue but they need to be FIRED. A road work crew shows up at 9PM EVERY NIGHT for the past week and make so much noise with all the drilling and machine work that even with IMPACT NOISE REDUCTION WINDOWS I can't sleep. I can't even imagine what others are going through. One of my neighbors has to go sleep in a family members house. The NOISE is so loud and it goes on from 9PM to about 2-3am. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! My building shakes all night too!
THIS IS NOT IN ACCORDANCE TO THE NOISE ORDINANCE I JUST READ IN YOUR MONTHLY FLYER! IT NEEDS TO STOP ASAP!
