The beach is littered with debris. It's a mess that needs extensive work. But the hotels are placing lounge chairs on the beach. Should The Town allow an obvious unsafe and unhealthy condition to take place? The ocean has been deemed unsafe. Red flags say no one is allowed in the ocean. Be proactive and tell these properties "not until Miami Dade cleans the beach." It's not healthy, it's not safe and it's in the best interests of their guests. Please do the right thing TODAY, not next week sometime.

Today the Four Seasons Hotel at 4:30 pm had multiple vehicles on the beach cleaning and bulldozing the seaweed. They were previously told no vehicles, but yet they continue. I previously submitted photos of the private beach raking/bulldozing truck that they hire privately.... Turning a blind eye again??

Why is The Surf Club allowed to employ a private beach maintenance raking company to drive along the entire beach and take the seaweed only behind their property? Isn't this the job of Miami Dade? I thought private vehicles were not allowed on the beach....
